Summary of the role:
The Specialist Finance Services function ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records and transactions across Diligenta's organisation. This includes processing payments, receipts and distributions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting reliable financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Within this function, the Fund Administration Service delivers a diverse range of high‑risk and highly specialised investment administration activities within a small team of nine.

This role provides the technical expertise required to support investment dealing, fund accounting, valuations, taxation, reconciliations and related processes, while assessing risks, implementing change, and ensuring operational excellence in a complex and tightly controlled environment.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Providing technical expertise across investment dealing, trade support, settlement, corporate actions, fund accounting, valuations, taxation and reconciliations
  • Assessing and mitigating risks across fund administration processes
  • Monitoring industry, third‑party and Investment Manager practices and implementing required changes
  • Evaluating and delivering client‑driven change and regulatory/legislative updates
  • Supporting customers with clear explanations, guidance and complaint management • Managing incidents effectively and ensuring timely resolution
What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience operating across investment administration processes, including 2 years performing activities, 3 years coordinating technical work, and 2+ years managing technical team activities
  • Experience across investment dealing, settlement, corporate actions, fund accounting, fund taxation, reconciliations, client reporting and client support
  • Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), Investment Operations Certificate (IOC), part‑qualified accountant, AAT, or equivalent experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment instruments, fund accounting, pricing, taxation and reconciliation processes
  • Strong understanding of life company fund accounting requirements and industry terminology
  • Experience working with third‑party administrators, custodians, brokers and data providers
