Summary of the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal to join our expanding legal function. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal support to Diligenta Legal, and for all Diligenta corporate and commercial activities, with a particular focus on legal issues arising from the administration of life assurance and pensions products, as well as commercial and third-party management.

What you'll be doing
- Supporting and contributing to all areas of Diligenta's legal function, aligning with the wider organisational objectives
- Managing the team's legal referrals inbox to a satisfactory standard, ensuring timely and accurate responses on various subject matters
- Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Maintaining good housekeeping of the legal team with accurate record keeping, document review, scanning, printing, logging and diary management
- Working closely with other functions to ensure effective incident resolution for potential risks or breaches
What we're looking for
- Possess a Law degree or equivalent
- Have experience working in a legal practice
- Are able to conduct legal research, interpret legislation, summarise the key points of case law
- Can apply fundamental legal principles to a wide range of processes
- Can communicate information and ideas in a clear, concise and open manner
- Have a working expertise with online legal research tools and MS Office suite (desired)
