Summary of the role

The Accounts Payable Administrator opportunity is a chance for a candidate to expand their knowledge and experience within the financial industry working closely with an ambitious team to deliver excellent service to the companies outgoing payments.

In the early stages the primary focus of the role is to obtain an understanding of and support the wider Finance Utility Team. In the longer term the role will involve processing invoices effectively, account reconciliation along with data analysis and reporting. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated and outgoing team player to take there first steps within the financial industry.

What you'll be doing

  • General finance administration activities
  • Learning & performing administration activities to support Finance Utility teams
  • Resolving queries in a professional manner
  • Analyzing Data – analysis, manipulating Data and producing weekly reports
  • Assisting with month end closing by preparing reports and reconciliations
  • Supporting projects/initiatives ensuring effective resolution
  • Supporting continuous improvement and drive change
  • Ensuring payments are made accurately and on time
