Pension & retirement planning

In line with statutory requirements, you will be auto-enrolled into the Diligenta Retirement Savings Plan, enabling you to build up a retirement pot. Your minimum contribution of 4.5% will be matched by the company, up to a maximum employer contribution of 6%. Deductions are made from monthly pay on a salary sacrifice basis, so it’s tax efficient too! From time to time, we also offer pension webinars to help you learn more about pensions and retirement planning.

Group income protection

If you are unable to work due to ill health for a period of 26 weeks or more, you may be eligible for this benefit which would provide up to 65% of your base salary, less a fixed deductible amount, until state pension age. Health rehabilitation services are also available, providing expert wellbeing support and helping you back to work. Policy terms and conditions apply.

Travelling to work can be a significant cost. Our Season Ticket policy provides interest-free loans as a means of making public transport travel costs. This allows you to repay the cost of your ticket over a designated period, via monthly salary deductions.

Life’s not all about work, and time out is essential. Your annual leave varies according to your grade, ranging from 23 - 25 days per year (pro rata for those working part-time), with bank holidays on top.

Group life assurance

Financial protection for your nominated beneficiaries is provided through our Group Life Assurance should you die before reaching retirement. Subject to meeting any necessary eligibility criteria, you will have cover level of four times your base salary up to age 75.
