Summary of the role:
As part of Diligenta’s continued growth and the increasing regulatory focus across financial services, we are expanding our Financial Crime Unit to further strengthen our defences. This newly created role of Anti-Financial Crime Specialist will be instrumental in protecting our business and clients from financial crime threats, including Money Laundering, Fraud, Terrorist Financing, and Bribery & Corruption.
Reporting into the Anti-Financial Crime Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our systems, controls, and oversight processes to effectively identify and mitigate financial crime risks. What you’ll be doing: - Supporting the delivery of activities as outlined in the FCU Annual Plan, with delivery of these within required timescales and SLA's.
- Researching, reviewing, analysing, disseminating and implementing regulatory change and best practice in relation to financial crime
- Working with risk and compliance to ensure migrations and workflows comply with regulations.
- Produce management information and reports for Diligenta and clients.
- Providing guidance, consultancy support and training to Diligenta business units on financial crime matters.
What we’re looking for: - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skill and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Technical expertise in data migration tools, business processing and workflow management techniques.
- Experience of working in large financial services organisations or other regulated environments.
- Proven relevant experience in similar role providing recommendations for business growth and optimisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience – able to work effectively with key business and client stakeholders.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications.
